After years of playing in punk rock bands and living in cities near venues, I found myself married and living in the suburbs. I thought backyard gardening would be a relaxing hobby that paid off with free food. Unfortunately, we had a family of raccoons living there also and they destroyed everything except for a ghost pepper that I was growing as a fun novelty.
I made a hot sauce with it and brought it to work. The bottle passed around from table to table until one guy came over and asked for more. It was a 23 bottle batch, and it was gone in 2 days.

  • Our Items Made with Ontario Garlic:My Beauty sauce uses roasted garlic, caramelized jalapeno peppers and extra dark maple syrup for a balance that's very heavy on the garlic with a sweet and smoky heat. It was the third place winner in the mild category at this year's Heatwave Expo in London. My Cobra Chicken sauce is similar to a sriracha type sauce with a garlic forward and a balance of sweet and savory with carrots, tomatoes and malt vinegar. I use fermented habanero peppers for complexity of flavour and fresh ghost peppers to bring up the heat.
